Here’s my story

Hi, I’m Pam

I have always loved homemaking, even studying Home Economics at the college level.  There, I had to press through ridicule from those who studied more traditional disciplines such as nursing, teaching, business, law, etc.  Even so, I maintained a deep conviction that there was a science to homemaking; creating an intentional home does not just “magically happen.” 

I was able to use my studies in a variety of settings after graduation.  The most important to me was in the creation of my own home.  My husband and I were blessed with four wonderful children that are now adults creating homes of their own.  It is a joy to watch this process.   

Homemaking is both a discipline and an art. It is an unfolding process, never perfect and never complete until we have finished our life journey. My hope is to provide a resource for people who love home and are endeavoring to create a home to share with those they love.  From singles to families of any size and stage of life, the home environment can always be improved.
